Media is a powerful tool not only to disseminate information,knowledge & entertain but also influence opinion.Entertainment & fun is a part of learning to enable a child to imbibe information & knowledge better in an informal environment when a child's ability to assimilate concepts are better than a formal environment. Every teacher has his/her own methodology to instruct.It therefore is an innovative method that a teacher employs to give better result & performance than in a rigid environment.
1. What can you say to the plan of the DepEd to supply one computer unit to each public school (with 1, 000 average of students in the country).
Ans. I find it inadequate since there are many students in each public school compared to private schools. We are in a modern generation now and it is very important for the students to learn how to use those advanced technologies for educational purposes and for the students to be more knowledgeable enough with those computers used in education. It’s a sad thing that only 1 computer would be given to a public school which has an average population of 1,000 in each school. We all know that computer is important in teaching and learning process especially that most of the teachers nowadays are giving an assignment which uses computer. And this computer is one of our source of information both the teachers and the learners.
what do you say to educators who say technology in teaching takes time and expensive?
.. As an educators we need innovation to be globally competitive. as far as we all know technology makes our job more easy and faster...and yes qiute expensive but its worth coz today to become globally competitive and innovative educators. We must be updated with current trends and technologies..
